Goodbye from And Other Poems

This is just to say that the time has come to wave a tender goodbye to And Other Poems. After posting poems here for six and a half years and sharing the work of hundreds of poets, I’ve decided to stop adding to this online poetry archive. The poems are still available to read – here is the 2012 – 2016 Index and here is the 2017 – 2018 Index.

Thank you to all email subscribers, blog readers, social media followers, and everyone who has taken part in this project. Thank you to all the poets. And Other Poems has been captured several times by the British Library so can be viewed in their archive. There is a lot of work here so I hope that the poems continue to be read and enjoyed by many. It’s amazing what you might find, once you start looking.

Finally, a big thank you to Rishi Dastidar who has been part of And Other Poems for the past few years. I am extremely grateful for Rishi’s friendship, brilliant sense of humour, technical wizardry and all round kindness. Rishi has made the editing of a poetry site more fun and more interesting than it would otherwise have been and he brought some fantastic poems to AOP.

So, that’s all, folks. Keep in touch. I blog over here and you’ll be able to find me in the usual social media places, as well as in person at various poetry events in 2019 and beyond.

All good wishes.

Josephine.
